About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program is a four-year program that includes general education and professional courses , with a focus on nursing concepts and Related Learning Experiences. It also includes an intensive nursing practicum to refine competencies and achieve entry-level nurse outcomes. (CMO-15-s-2017)

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, the PLT College, Inc. graduates should be able to:

1. Apply knowlege of physical, social, natural and health sciences and humanities in the practice of nursing;

2. Perform safe, appropriate, and holistic care to individuals, families, communities, population groups, and communities utilizing the nursing process.

3. Apply guidelines and principles of evidence-based practice in the delivery of care.

4. Practice nursing in accordance with existing laws, legal, ethical, and moral principles;

5. Communicate effectively in speaking, writting, and presenting using culturally-appropriate language;

6. Report/document client care accurately and comprehensively;

7. Collaborate effectively with inter-, intra-, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;

8. Practice beginning management and leadership skills using system approach in the delivery of client care;

9. Conduct research with experienced researcher;

10. Engage in lifelong learning with a passion to keep current with national and global developements in general, and nursing and health developments in particular;

11. Demonstrate social responsibility and pride in being a Filipino and a God-centered nurse.
